"Judgement Day"

The night is gone, the time has come
To find a new day has begun,
And it promises to stay
To soothe the pain of wasted years
And kiss away the bitter tears
A love to light the way

And from the darkness comes a smile,
That reaches out for many miles,
Touching everyone.
No more shadows of the past,
Your spirit free to fly at last,
Shining in the sun

Like the rolling thunder, I feel the power of love,
It's a gift from heaven - And the Lord above

We walk toward desire,
Hand and hand through fields of fire
With only love to light the way
On the road to Judgement Day...

-David Coverdale, Whitesnake

Judgement Day was captured at Antelope Canyon on Navajo land east of Page, Arizona. Antelope includes two separate, photogenic slot canyon sections, referred to individually as Upper Antelope Canyon or The Crack; and Lower Antelope Canyon or The Corkscrew. Certain times of the year around noon you will witness these incredible light rays beaming through the cracks of the canyon walls. The tour guides will throw sand up into the air without notice to make the rays more visible, so be careful of your camera gear!

I've always loved the lyrics to the Whitesnake song "Judgement Day".  It speaks of new beginnings, of new opportunities, and of forgetting the shadows of your past.  "We walk toward desire, Hand and hand through fields of fire, With only love to l

ight the way, On the road to Judgement Day..."  This is the ultimate truth in life for me.  Love should always be your guide, and it will always light your way and guide you through all the darkness.
