Linkin Park started at the end of the 20th Century and took the blend of heavy rock and rap into uncharted territory.  Their unique use of both rapper Mike Shinoda and the visceral screams of Chester Bennington put the group to the forefront of new rock.  Albums Hybrid Theory and Meteora are my favorites.

But it wasn't until I heard the unreleased "My December" off of Hybrid Theory's bonus disc that I truly understood the range and passion of Chester Bennington.  He truly had a distinct voice that could throw you into the mosh pit one second and then bring you to tears the next.  

"My December" became my song in December of 2008 when I was dealing with the emotions of divorce, and now I have created this artistic expression for you.
