From what started as an industrial accident at work turned into a life-long career as the architect of Heavy riffs and Mind-Blowing solos.  Tony Iommi is at the top of Rocker Royalty in my book.

At times both brutal and beautiful, Tony's playing seemed to flow from a portal of both Heaven and Hell.  Songs like Paranoid and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath from his tenure with Ozzy Osbourne and also songs like Die Young and Children Of The Sea with Ronnie James Dio all helped push Hard Rock and Heavy Metal into another dimension.

Like Hendrix and Clapton, Iommi stands as a Giant in the company of heavy rock's Iron Men.
